What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form or by email, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if given), your message and any attached files. When you visit the website, the web host records technical data such as IP address and browser in server logs. With your consent we also use Google Analytics; see Cookies.
Why and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or order: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Visit statistics with Google Analytics: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep the data
Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless they lead to an order. Documents that form part of a business transaction are kept as long as the Swedish Accounting Act requires (seven years).
Who receives the data
Our web host and email provider process data on our behalf. When an enquiry concerns production, we may share technical documents, but not your contact details unless needed, with the manufacturer that prepares the quotation. Google Ireland Ltd. processes analytics data if you have consented; Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at coning@coning.se. You can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, www.imy.se.
